III. Packungsinhalt (FTS 3003) Contents (FTS 3003) I. Allgemeine Hinweise Die Fenster- und TŸr-Sicherung FTS 3003 ist nach strengen PrŸfanforderungen getestet. FTS 3003 bietet zusŠtzlichen Schutz gegen unberechtigtes Eindringen in Ihre RŠume. Wir empfehlen, dass pro 1 m Fenster-/TŸrhšhe jeweils eine Zusatzsicherung montiert wird. Die optimale Schutzwirkung erreichen Sie, wenn Sie entsprechend dieser Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung vorgehen. Die Befestigungsschrauben sollten zur Vermeidung von †berdrehung mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug von Hand eingeschraubt und angezogen werden. FŸr eventuell auftretende Verletzungen bzw. SchŠden, die bei der Montage und/oder durch unsachgemŠ§e Handhabung entstehen, Ÿbernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung!
General Notes The window and door lock FTS 3003 has been tested according to stringent test requirements. FTS 3003 provides additional protection against unauthorized entering of your home. We recommend to fit one additional lock per 1 m of window/door height. Top protection is achieved if you follow this instruction step by step. In order to avoid overturning the screws should be inserted and fixed by hand with an appropriate tool. The manufacturer is not liable of any damage/injuries caused by the fitting and/or improper handling.
II. Einsatzmšglichkeiten der FTS 3003
FTS 3003 eignet sich fŸr alle gŠngigen nach innen šffnenden Fenster und TŸren mit und ohne Falz (Abb. 1). Die Montage kann auf Holz, Kunststoff und Metall erfolgen.
Das Fenster/die TŸr kann nach rechts oder links šffnen. FTS 3003 wird grundsŠtzlich innen auf der …ffnungsseite montiert, das Schloss auf dem FensterflŸgel/TŸrblatt und der Schlie§kasten auf dem Rahmen.
Application FTS 3003 is suitable for all common inward opening windows and door with or without rebate (fig. 1). It can be fitted on wood, PVC and metal.
The window/door can open to both left and right.
FTS is always fitted on the inside on the opening side.
V. Montageanleitung (Wichtige Hinweise): Vor der Montage die Einstellung des Fensters/der TŸr prŸfen und ggf. BeschlŠge neu einstellen, damit das Fenster/die TŸr einwandfrei šffnet und schlie§t. Die Bohrlšchertiefen bzw. die SchraubenlŠngen mŸssen evtl. den šrtlichen Gegebenheiten angepasst werden, damit das Austreten des Bohrers bzw. der Schrauben auf der RŸckseite vermieden wird.
Ggf. mit Bohranschlag arbeiten, kŸrzere Schrauben verwenden oder vorhandene kŸrzen.
Beim Bohren keine beweglichen Teile, Dichtungen oder Glasscheiben verletzen.
Fitting Instruction (Important Note): Before fitting the lock check the adjustment of the window/door and Ð if necessary Ð readjust the fittings to make sure the window/door opens and closes properly. The depths of the drill holes resp. the lengths of the screws possibly need to be adapted to the local conditions to avoid the drill resp. the screws protruding on the back. If necessary, use a bit stop, shorter screws or shorten the screws included. When drilling make sure that you donÕt damage movable parts, sealing or glass panels.

II. PossibilitŽs dÕutilisation du dispositif de sŽcuritŽ FTS 3003Le dispositif de sŽcuritŽ FTS 3003 sÕadapte ˆ toutes les fen�tres et ˆ toutes les portes usuelles ouvrant vers lÕintŽrieur, avec ou sans contrefeuillure (schŽma 1).
Le montage peut sÕeffectuer sur du bois, du PVC et du mŽtal. La fen�tre ou la porte peut sÕouvrir vers la droite ou vers la gauche.
Le montage du dispositif de sŽcuritŽ FTS 3003 sÕeffectue toujours ˆ lÕintŽrieur et du c™tŽ de lÕouverture.
La serrure sera montŽe sur le vantail de la fen�tre ou de la porte, alors que la gšche sera fixŽ sur le chšssis.
II. Toepassing FTS 3003Oplegslot FTS 3003 is geschikt voor naar binnen draaiende ramen, deuren met en zonder opdek (afb. 1). Geschikt voor hout, kunststof en metaal.
ABUS FTS 3003 is geschikt voor rechts of links draaiende elementen. Monteer FTS 3002 op de binnenkant en aan de sluitzijde.

II. AplicacionesEl cerrojo FTS 3003 sirve para todas las ventanas cuya hoja abra hacia dentro y para puertas sean o no solapadas (ill. 1).
Puede colocarse en madera, PVC y metal. La ventana o puerta puede abrir hacia la izquierda o hacia la derecha.
El cuerpo del FTS 3003 siempre debe instalarse en la parte de dentro del marco de la hoja que se abre hacia dentro.
V. Instructions de montage (Informations et observations importantes):Avant tout montage, il convient de vŽrifierlÕajustage de la fen�tre ou de la porte et de procŽder,le cas ŽchŽant, ˆ un nouvel ajustage des ferrures de mani�re ˆ ce que la fermeture de la fen�tre ou de la porte sÕeffectue de mani�re irrŽprochable.
Afin de prŽvenir la sortie du foret ou des vis sur la face arri�re, il convient, le cas ŽchŽant, dÕadapter la profondeur des forures ou la longueur des vis aux circonstances et aux donnŽes respectives sur site.
Le cas ŽchŽant, vous pouvez utiliser un dispositif de blocage, des vis plus courtes. Vous avez Žgalement la possibilitŽ de raccourcir les vis fournies.
Lors du per�age, il convient de veiller ˆ ne pas endommager les ŽlŽments mobiles, le calfeutrage ou les vitres.

V. Instrucciones de montaje (Nota Importante):Antes de instalar el cerrojo se debe comprobar el buen ajuste de la ventana o puerta y si es necesario reajustar las bisagras para estar seguro de que la puerta o ventana abre y cierra correctamente.
La profundidad de los agujeros a taladrar y el largo de los respectivos tornillos puede que deba adaptarse al perfil del marco de la hoja donde se va a colocar el cerrojo de manera que no sobresalgan los tornillos por el otro lado. Si es necesario, utilice un tope de broca, acorte los agujeros y los tornillos que se incluyen. Cuando vaya a taladrar asegœrese de que no se da–an las partes m—viles el sellado, o los paneles de cristal.

VI. Maniement/Gebruik/Funcionamiento:Verrouillage: Le verrou sÕenclenche par dŽplacement du bouton-poussoir. Il est inutile de se servir de la clŽ.
Ouverture: Une lŽg�re rotation de la clŽ induit le dŽverrouillage du verrou.
Le dispositif de sŽcuritŽ FTS 3003 ne requiert aucune maintenance et aucun entretien.
